Dr. Burnett attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and returned to the Bay Area where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He specialized in orthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Burnett launched his private orthodontic practice in 1994, and has built many long-lasting friendships with patients and their families ever since.
Dr. B, as many people call him, is well-known for his ever-present smile and good humor, his compassion, and his strong ethics. He is completely committed to providing his patients with the right treatment at the right time, and never over-treating. He believes that communication and an open dialogue between patient and doctor are essential to successful treatment.
Dr. Burnett is a native and active community member of Los Gatos, where he lives with his wife and daughter. When he is not enjoying his time in the office, he enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, and surfing.
Dr. Burnett is committed to providing the latest treatments and technologies in the specialty, and maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Santa Clara Dental Society, and the Progressive 2 Study Club.
